Dr. Danielle Spath, CCSP (Associate)
Hello everyone! I am so excited to be joining the Chiropractic Care and Sports Rehab team! My name is Danielle Spath, and I am a 2008 graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic. Since completing my doctorate coursework, I have been working at Logan College of Chiropractic in the Sports and Rehabilitation Department. I have enjoyed preparing other Doctors of Chiropractic for the last three years by teaching Physical Therapy and Athletic Injuries courses at Logan. During this time, I worked to earn a Master of Science in Sports Science and Rehabilitation 2009, completed a residency of intense training in sports and rehabilitation, and earned a certification as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician in 2010. I am also certified in SpiderTech taping.
As a chiropractor, my primary job is to assess the joints; whether a joint moves too much or too little, I implement treatment methods to correct that dysfunction. So if my patients are college athletes, recreational athletes, or even “sedentary athletes”, I implement muscle and joint stability training, balance, flexibility and movement training into the patient’s care. I do this because I know that this type of treatment is what gets patients better faster and keeps them feeling better longer. I truly enjoy helping people live better lives, and I am driven by results. So if there is a reason for another opinion or the help of another professional, I have developed relationships with many physicians of other specialties in Saint Louis area. So when a referral is needed, I know the best places to send you and will work with that physician as a team to provide the best care possible.
My goal is to affect as many people as possible, using this training, to live healthy and enjoyable lives. I believe that it is vitally important for all of us to move well, eat balanced diets, get enough rest, and think positively. So I live by example and enjoy spending time outdoors, running, and biking. I’ve participated in four half marathons, an 8-hour adventure race, a sprint triathlon, and several other races. I plan to do many more throughout my lifetime. The greatest joy in my life is laughing and playing with my daughter and spending simple moments with my family.
