Elvira Ahmetspahic, Office Manager
I was born in Bosnia and Herzegovina (yes that is the full name of the country). I went to culinary high school. Growing up I liked to dance, cook and bake…still do.
In 1992 my family and I left the country with the help of the United Nations. We lived as war refugees in Hanau, Germany for five years. I met my husband, Emil in 1993 and we married in 1994. After the war was over we couldn’t stay in Germany any longer, so we applied to move to the US, where we finally found our peace and home. The United States and St. Louis has offered me so many opportunities. I was able to take free English classes and computer classes. I also took an interpreters course and got real estate license.
I live in beautiful South County with my husband and two children Hasan (12) and Laila (6) and two dogs. I speak Bosnian, Croatian, Serbian, German and English.
I spend my free time with family or volunteering for Hasan’s soccer team, Laila’s school or the Bosnian community in St. Louis.
I have been working for Chiropractic Care and Sports Rehab, Inc. as the office manager since April 2008. It is a big enjoyment to meet new people and see them feeling better. My main job is to make our patients feel comfortable, guide them, and of course help with scheduling and insurance needs.
